Giving Back: MOSAIC's Initiative to Help a Local Town Reeling from Disaster

In Maryland, Memorial Day Weekend 2018 ended in tragedy when our region suffered unexpected levels of rainfall in a brief amount of time. Just a few miles from the MOSAIC Technologies HQ in Fulton, extreme flash flooding in downtown Ellicott City caused not only the catastrophic loss of homes and business, but also the loss of a local National Guardsman, Eddison Hermond, who was with MOSAIC Recruiter Sara Lopez at the time of the flood.

MOSAIC is dedicated to assisting our region in the recovery efforts. On Tuesday, May 29th, COO Sandra Grier and others from the home office, delivered an SUV full of cleaning supplies, water, and other much needed necessities to the Howard County Food Bank. The group was interviewed by WUSA Channel 9 out of DC.

In the coming weeks as Ellicott City and Howard County begin to put the pieces back together, MOSAIC is committed to being a part of the recovery efforts.
